ABOUT

Creator Command Studio was born out of my own need to stop feeling like I was always playing catch-up.

I was losing so much valuable time trying to find information I knew I had somewhere. Where did I write down that password? When was that appointment again? I know I had something on the schedule for this weekend. What ingredients do I already have at home for that cookie recipe?

None of these things should have been a big deal. But when we’re constantly trying to remember, find, organize, and keep track of all the little details of everyday life, they start to add up.

I realized I didn't need to become better at keeping everything in my head. I needed a place for everything to go.

...and that's where Creator Command Studio began.

My mission is simple: to lighten the burden of day-to-day life and home management so you can spend more of your time on what matters most to you.

Through thoughtful, personalized digital systems, I create intentional places for the things that fill up your brain — your appointments, ideas, to-do's, important information, family details, and all of those little “I need to remember that!” moments.

Life is already full enough. Your systems should make it feel lighter, not give you one more thing to manage.

I believe that when the right things have the right place, you get a little more room to breathe. And maybe a little more time to actually enjoy the life you're working so hard to build.

Welcome to Creator Command Studio...let's build lives that feel like exhales.

EMILY DAWSON

Founder & Systems Designer

My path into Creator Command Studio grew from years of working in technology at IBM and Microsoft, helping small businesses streamline their technology and processes, and from nearly a decade of working with children and families in homes and school settings.

Building the CCS Framework for home and life management — and being “Type A” about the systems I’ve built to use every day — has actually allowed me to be much more Type B in life.

Knowing that I have systems in place to help me keep track of the things that matter, prepare for what I can, and respond calmly when life inevitably throws something at me has freed up so much mental space and energy. Instead of constantly playing catch-up or trying to remember what I might be forgetting, I have more room to focus on what matters most to me.

I built these systems because I needed them myself. And in the process, I realized how much precious time and energy I had been spending acting as the Administrative Assistant for my own life.

I don't think we should have to spend our lives managing our lives.

That's what I'm building CCS to help change.
